Final 26 CCC Budiriro members granted bail

26 CCC Budiriro cadres have been granted bail. The 24 applicants have to pay $30 000 rtgs bail and two CCC members aged 72 and 81 were given free bail.
The accused had spend over 2 weeks in prison. They were accused of holding an illegal meeting at Honourable Machingauta’s house.
The heavily armed police assaulted Honourable Machingauta’s wife and daughter and barricaded the road to his house.
Bail conditions : to report once a week on a Friday at CID and not to interfere with witnesses.
