Zimbabwe Media Commission (ZMC) has announced that it will be hosting inaugural annual Media Golf Day on Friday 28 July 2023 at the ZRP Golf Club in Harare .
The Tournament shall be held under the the ” Professional Media For Peaceful Elections” . The theme underlines the constant message from the commission that the coming harmonized elections are an opportunity for Zimbabweans to exercise their constitutional duty and responsibility to choose their leaders in a dignified and peaceful manner.
” We went on to call upon citizens to embrace the elections , remembering that the rights they are exercising have a bearing in future generations . In keeping with the constitutional mandate of chapter 12 commissions , the ZMC reiterates the active participation of Zimbabweans in building a sustainable democracy and a culture of good governance ” said ZMC Chairperson Dr Magosongwe.

Zimbabwe Media Commission’s decision to host Media Golf day is part of its contribution towards peaceful elections and it emphasized that there is much that brings people together than what divides them .
