Palestine Deploys High Level Delegation To Observe Zimbabwe Elections

Palestine has responded from the invitation by the government of Zimbabwe to be part of the 23 August 2023 harmonized election observe mission by sending the high level Palestinian delegation to observe the elections.

The delegation comprises of different Palestinian agencies led by the Chief Executive Officer of the Palestine Central Election Commission Mr Hisham Kuhail and also include two Palestinian diplomats from the Embassy in Harare. ‘ The delegation is evidence of Palestine’s solidarity and support towards Zimbabwe elections and democratic process and will visit different polling stations to monitor the electorial process’ said Ambassador Dr Tarmer Almassri.

“Prior to departing ,the delegation will make an assessment of the election process and will demostrate that the State of Palestine is fully committed to free and fair election process that produces credible results ” concludes Ambassador Dr Tarmer Almassri.
