As the country celebrates Vice President Chiwenga’s big day, a Hatcliffe wedding was called off yesterday after the bride failed to show up.

The couple had perfectly prepared for their big day and invited loved ones to witness their blissful union. The groom and bride had broken the bank to make their day memorable, from the decor to the food and even the sound.

 

Yesterday, everything was in place for the wedding to go on smoothly. The venue was ready, and the guests filled the Hatcliffe hall to witness and experience the fun of the wedding.

 

As is the norm at weddings, the groom arrived first to a jubilant and full venue and waited for the love of his life to waltz to the altar.

 

However, time moved, and the bride was nowhere in sight. The wedding guests, the bridal party and the groom waited patiently, hoping the bride would make a delayed but dramatic entrance. She never showed up, and it dawned on everyone that she had pulled a shocker.

 

The groom, overwhelmed by emotion, sobbed uncontrollably over the embarrassment. ZimCelebs reported that the ceremony’s organisers ended up dishing out food for the guests to enjoy despite the wedding being abandoned.
