CHIREDZI SET TO SIZZLE WITH INAUGURAL SUMMER FESTIVAL

Masvingo-In a move poised to put the small town of Chiredzi firmly on the entertainment map, the inaugural Chiredzi Summer Festival is slated to take place on Friday, August 30, 2024, at the Caravan Park. The brainchild of local music enthusiasts, 5 Star Ent and DTL Records, this highly anticipated event promises to deliver an unforgettable experience for hip-hop and dancehall fans.
Headlining the festival are three of the genre’s biggest hitters – Master H, Bagga, and Boss Pumacol. These musical heavyweights will share the stage with an impressive lineup of local talent, including Queen Charlotte, Faster G, Swagmore Okoye, Team Bvondo, Pjay Magetsi, Juggler, Braco T, and many more.
According to Kudzai Matondo, Director of 2Kings Entertainment and DTL Records, the festival’s promoter, “We’re thrilled to bring this caliber of talent to Chiredzi. Our goal is to create a memorable experience for music lovers and showcase the town’s vibrant culture. We’re expecting a sold-out event, and we can’t wait to make history in Chiredzi!”
The festival’s timing couldn’t be more perfect, coinciding with the peak of summer. As the sun sets over Caravan Park on Friday, the 30th, the stage will come alive with electrifying performances, ensuring an unforgettable night for attendees.
