Nakamba tops Luton Town’s wage bill with £30,000-a-week, £1.56m annual salary
LONDON — Zimbabwe international Marvelous Nakamba is among Luton Town’s highest-paid players, earning an estimated £30,000 per week. This translates to approximately £129,900 per month and £1.56 million annually.
The figure represents a significant reduction from the £55,000-a-week salary he reportedly earned at Aston Villa, according to Football Insider.
Nakamba shares the top spot on Luton’s wage bill with teammates Jacob Brown and Tahith Chong, as the Hatters aim to balance competitive ambitions with financial prudence following their return to the Championship.
Despite their relegation from the Premier League last season, Luton Town spends considerably less on wages compared to some of their Championship rivals. Their average weekly salary stands at £15,161, significantly below Leeds United’s £30,783 and Burnley’s £20,552.
