Masvingo-based prophet predicts that Zig currency will be stronger in 2025

A Masvingo-based clergyman, Prophet Lovemore Chevure of the Prophetic Grace International Church, has boldly predicated that the year 2025 will see the Zig local currency being the currency of choice.
In an interview, Chevure said with prayer and fasting, the local currency which has been battling to stay afloat against the US dollar since it’s launch in April this year, will gain strength.
“Citizens might find this as a joke, but let me boldly say this, the local currency will gain its strength in 2025.The Lord has shown me this but this can be achievable through prayer and fasting,”he said.
On the drought facing the country in which the World Food Programme (WFP) has estimated that over 5 million citizens will need assistance due to poor rains induced by climate change, Chevure called on Zimbabweans not to press panic buttons.
“As I was praying. God has shown me that the year 2025 will see Zimbabwe being up lifted.Offcourse we are facing drought but with the leadership that we have, citizens will be able to sail through.
Prophet Chevure called on Zimbabweans to maintain peace inspite of economic challenges.
“I urge all citizens to remain vigilant and be steadfast in prayer for the economic challenges are a passing stage.We need to remain peaceful citizens inspire of our political differences.As churches we say let’s maintain peace and say no to political violence.I urge the church to take a leading role in maintenance of peace”.
“I am grateful with the assistance that government is giving to the vulnerable who are facing hunger but as the church we need to assist government in ensuring that food aid reaches all the corners of the country.”
Turning to sporting arena, Chevure who has open up church branches in Masvingo, Harare, Zvishavane, Bulawayo and South Africa, predicated that newly promoted Premier Soccer club, Scottland FC wiil be crowned champions in 2025.He also said the senior football team, the Warriors will do well at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations slated for Morocco in December.
Meanwhile Prophetic Grace International Church will be having an end of year three days and three nights crusade from 29 December to 31 December of prayer and fasting at Kyle Dam Wall prayer mountain, along Great Zimbabwe – Topora road.
