Although Kadoma is facing significant challenges, particularly with its water and sewer systems, the Mayor’s Cheer Fund Dinner has shown that unity is the key to overcoming these obstacles. The event’s overwhelming success is a testament to the community’s shared commitment to supporting those in need.

As his worship Mayor Ruzario emphasized, “Together, we can transform Kadoma, this is our home.” This sentiment echoes the importance of national unity in achieving peace, stability, and prosperity.

The business community’s exceptional commitment and contributions to the Cheer Fund Dinner are particularly noteworthy. Their support not only strengthens the community but also positively impacts the lives of those less fortunate.

Deputy Chairperson of Kadoma Community Council, Steven Meki, highlighted the importance of community unity while also emphasizing the need for accountability. “Coming together as a community for the needy doesn’t mean we forget our mandate as residents’ leaders to demand service delivery from council,” he said. “We must continue to hold our leaders accountable for providing essential services, such as clean water and sanitation, while also supporting those in need.”

Meki’s statement underscores the delicate balance between community unity and the need for accountability. As Kadoma continues to face its challenges, it’s essential to recognize that unity is the foundation upon which meaningful change can be built. By standing together and supporting one another, the people of Kadoma can create a brighter future for their beloved city.

The Mayor’s Cheer Fund Dinner has shown that even in the face of adversity, the Kadoma community can come together to make a positive impact. As the city moves forward, it’s crucial to maintain this sense of unity and purpose, while also demanding accountability from leaders to ensure that the needs of the community are met.
