Scottland FC Buys Entire Soccer Dream Team for $2.5 Million

Zimbabwe’s soccer scene is about to get a major shake-up with Scottland FC’s explosive new team lineup for 2025. The newly promoted club has assembled a squad that looks more like a soccer dream team than a regular league roster.

At the heart of their strategy is a stunning trio of soccer superstars: Walter Musona, Lynoth Chikuhwa, and Khama Billiat. These players are pure soccer dynamite. Chikuhwa led last season’s scoring with 17 goals, Billiat netted 13, and Musona clinched 10 goals while winning Soccer Star of the Year.

The team’s firepower doesn’t stop there. Tymon Machope, who scored 11 goals last season, joins this goal-scoring machine. The squad is loaded with talent like Godknows Murwira, Mthokozisi Msebe, Michael Tapera, Kevin Moyo, and veteran defender Peter Muduhwa.

What makes Scottland FC truly special is their financial muscle. With a whopping US$2.5 million budget, they’re now the richest club in the league. This massive war chest comes from a US$1.5 million sponsorship by Sakunda Holdings and an additional US$1 million from IMC Communications, courtesy of businessman Wicknell Chivayo.

Guiding this star-studded team is Tonderayi Ndiraya, the coach who led Simba Bhora to their first Castle Lager Premier Soccer League championship in 2024. His track record suggests Scottland FC isn’t just joining the league – they’re planning to dominate it.

The club’s ambition is crystal clear: win the Premier Soccer League and establish themselves as Zimbabwe’s soccer powerhouse. With their killer lineup and serious financial backing, they’re not just dreaming – they’re preparing to make it happen in 2025.
