Three male and three female have survived a horror crash Wednesday mid-morning when a mushikashika driver rammed into a crowd before crashing into an airtime-trader booth.

According to one of the women who survived the crash, they heard a loud noise before the mushikashika vehicle rammed into their booth.

“I only heard people shouting loudly and when I stood up to check what was going on, I saw a man being hit by a car which then hit our booth.  We survived by the grace of God,” said the woman.

“We were seated in our booth and I saw a car ramming into the booth luckily, I was just injured on the hand,” said another woman who lives in Rimuka.

Eye witnesses said that the accident was caused by a Mushikashika driver who had been flagged to stop but  attempted to flee from City of Kadoma Municipal Traffic Police.

All the injured were taken to Kadoma General Hospital. Five have since been discharged with one male, Banda, who lives along Mangwanya Street still admitted and will be flown to Harare for specialist services.

When the news crew visited Kadoma General Hospital, relatives of Banda were still in shock.
