‘SHE HAS INFECTED MY HUSBAND WITH STIS COUNTLESS TIMES’, SAYS HARARE WOMAN
A woman claims her husband’s girlfriend has infected him with STIs “countless times.”
Batsirai Musendwa said her husband has been having a seven-year love affair with Praise Munaki whom she blames for infecting him with STIs.
Every time her husband contracts a sexually transmitted infection, said Batsirai, he blames her even when it’s clear that the blame should go to his lover, Praise.
On Valentine’s Eve, Batsirai spotted Praise in the Harare CBD and attacked her for trying to destroy her marriage.
Batsirai was dragged to the Harare Civil Court by Praise, who was seeking a protection order.
The two appeared before Harare magistrate Judith Taruvinga yesterday.
Batsirai told the court that Praise has been having an affair with her husband for seven years, causing problems in her marriage.
“I attacked her because I am tired of my husband’s behaviour,” said Batsirai.
“Anonetsa Praise, she has infected my husband with STIs countless times and my husband blames me for it.
“She has been having an affair with my husband for seven years now.
“I once confronted her at her workplace and she claimed that she was having an affair with another co-worker.
“She recently gave birth to a baby and has convinced my husband that he is the father.
“I am aware that it’s not my husband’s child because she is in the habit of dating married men.”
Praise claimed Batsirai attacked her in the CBD on Thursday.
“Last Thursday, she saw me in town and attacked me, saying I should stop dating her husband.
“She attacked and harassed me in public.
“She has been threatening to harm me and she finally got the chance to.
“I fear that she will end up hiring people to kill me.”
The magistrate granted the two a reciprocal order. *_-H-Metro_*
