Kadoma City shareholders’ contributions applauded

Kadoma City Council Public Health Director, Dr. Daniel Chirundu, applauded everyone who have contributed towards the Kadoma Public Health Emergency Operations Centre(Pamela House), handed over on the 13th of March 2025 by Honorable Minister of Health, Honorable D.T Mombeshora. Dr. Chirundu credited the Government Of Zimbabwe’s efforts in decentralizing public health emergency centres in the country. ‘This centre will serve as a nerve to control any health emergencies in Kadoma and around henceforth, l appreciate the government for such a move.’ Dr Chirundu also applauded The Ministry of Health for it’s unwavering support, World Vision for it’s contributions since the commencement of the project, Kadoma City Council for it’s unending support, Africa CDC and the community at large that has been working tirelessly to fulfill this project.
Pamela House Public Health Emergency Operations Centre is going to cover multiple departments ranging from Public Health, Animal Health and Plant Health. It’s main thrust is to make sure that it minimises the spread of diseases. Accident related issues, sewer burst issues and ambulance related issues, environmental related issues among the endless list will be served at Pamela House call centre.
Kadoma has been chosen among other areas in Zimbabwe such as Harare, Mutare, Beitbridge and lnsiza among others. This has been a blessing to it’s people who suffered the brunt effects of the Cholera and COVID-19 pandemics.
