RIVAL FANS CELEBRATE AS SCOTTLAND FC SUFFERS 1ST DEFEAT OF 2025 SEASON

Rival fans are on cloud seven after Scottland FC’s unbeaten run in the 2025 Castle Premier Soccer League came to a screeching halt after a narrow 1-0 defeat to Ngezi Platinum Stars at Rufaro Stadium on Friday 14 March.

Ngezi Platinum’s Kudzai Chigwida sealed the victory with a penalty in the 79th minute, handing Scottland FC their first loss of the season. Before this match, Scottland FC was the only team in the league to win both of its opening fixtures. However, Ngezi Platinum spoiled their perfect start and climbed to the top of the league table with seven points, one ahead of Scottland FC, who remain on six. It was also Scottland’s first competitive loss since 10 May 2024.
