Israeli Military Resume Genocide In Gaza Strip, Kills Over 350 Civilians Including Women

The Ambassador of the State of Palestine, H.E. Tamer Almassri, condemns in the strongest terms the resumption of the criminal Israeli genocide war against Gaza, which has resulted in the perpetration of new horrific massacres in full view of the entire world. This brutal onslaught has claimed the lives of over 350 Palestinian civilians, the majority of whom are women and children last night.

Benjamin Netanyahu’s decision to resume this war of extermination against Palestinians is a desperate attempt to cling to power amidst internal government crises and his corruption cases, using the blood of Palestinians as a political lifeline.

These brutal massacres committed by the Israeli occupation army reaffirm that this occupation knows only the language of killing, destruction and premeditated intent to continue committing genocide against children and women as well as displacing Palestinians from their land.
Ambassador Almassri emphasizes that the continuation of this genocide comes amid the occupation’s ongoing policy of mass starvation against more than 2.4 million people in Gaza since the start of this war of extermination. The occupation systematically uses siege, border closures, and the cutting off of food supplies as a weapon of war to subjugate Palestinian people, in a blatant violation of international humanitarian law, which criminalizes the use of starvation as a weapon against civilians.

The State of Palestine stresses that the Israeli forces will not achieve any glory through war and destruction. Military pressure and brutal aggression will not succeed in breaking the will of our people, who will continue to struggle against this brutal fascist occupation state and will never leave or raise the white flag.

In light of these horrific events, the State of Palestine calls on the international community, the United Nations, the Security Council, and human rights and humanitarian organizations to break their silence and take immediate action to stop these horrific massacres, to end the aggression against children, women, and civilians, and to hold Israeli occupation leaders accountable for their crimes in international courts. The world cannot continue to watch this ongoing genocide in its various forms without real deterrence.
