Missing Borrowdale Man Found Dead After Being Kidnapped for ‘Sperms’
In a tragic turn of events, a Borrowdale man who had been missing for five days was found dead at a farm in Chegutu.
The body of Bob Karonga was discovered near Itape Farm, close to where his sister, Loice Karonga, lives.
Bob was last seen on March 20 at his workplace in Borrowdale, where he worked as a gardener. According to reports, he left briefly to buy airtime but never returned.
The situation took a chilling twist on Monday around 4 PM when Loice received a phone call from Bob’s employer. He told her that he had received a disturbing message from an unknown person who claimed to have kidnapped Bob. The caller shockingly said they were “done with Bob” and had wanted sperm from him.
The kidnappers also sent Bob’s employer a voice recording of a man and disturbing nude photos showing Bob unconscious on a bed. The photos were sent from Bob’s own phone, and it is suspected that the kidnappers were behind it.
They further threatened to dump Bob’s body in Gweru.
However, early Tuesday morning, around 5 AM, Loice made the heartbreaking discovery of her brother’s body lying about 40 meters from her house at Plot 4, Itape Farm.
Speaking to H-Metro, a relative who requested anonymity said the family was still trying to come to terms with the tragedy.
“We are in a shock,” said one of the relatives.
They noted that there were no signs of a struggle as there was bloody poo next to his boby meaning he was trying to relieve himself.
