Sex, spirit medium payments, $40K payouts, Nyandoro bombshell tears through CCC

CCC Southerton MP Bridget Nyandoro cast the cat among the pigeons on Friday, leaving opposition figures at each other’s throats after alleging that MPs in the 9th Parliament who received US$40,000 were instructed to surrender a portion to appease a spirit medium linked to President Mnangagwa.

Nyandoro accused Joana Mamombe and Denford Ngadziore of corruption, including land grabs and nepotism in council jobs. She claimed her real “crime” was exposing abuse by Nelson Chamisa’s brother, with whom she had a relationship.

Her remarks sparked backlash, with some tying her rise to the flawed Candidate Independent Selection Panel (CISP), which controversially favoured loyalty over merit and sidelined seasoned opposition figures.

Yet, opposition sympathizers, insist her statements should be taken seriously — after all, the party once trusted her enough to deploy her politically.
