Miss Universe 2025 Finalists Unveiled

The 2025 top 20 Miss Universe Zimbabwe finalists have been unveiled.

The pageant will return to Hippodrome in Braeside with event hosts set to be announced soon.

This year the age limit for the competition is between the age of 20 to 31, including mothers.

Another notable change this year is the introduction of the top 20 instead of 30 and top 10 instead of 12. The top 20 will then go for Miss Universe Zimbabwe Charity event and the top 10 will then be announced ahead of the finale the following month.

The crowned queen will represent Zimbabwe at the global Miss Universe pageant scheduled for November in Thailand. In an interview, the Miss Universe pageant organisers said contestants are ready and preparations for the national finale are proceeding smoothly.

“For now, we have revealed the top 20, after that we have the Fun Run this Saturday and will reveal the Top 10 in the evening.

“This adjustment aims to ensure that the winner is thoroughly prepared for the global stage and that the contestants have so much attention given to them.

“We also have revealed the closeup portraits for the top 20 so that the country warms up to the ladies.

“This year’s contestants age ranges from 20 to 31, the age limit for the competition has been increased given everyone an equal opportunity to represent their country.”

Organisers have emphasised the inclusive nature of the competition, welcoming women of all marital statuses, ages, and backgrounds, in line with the global Miss Universe guidelines.

“We create and provide a safe space for women to share their stories and drive impact personally, professionally, and philanthropically,” they said.

“Amongst the top 20 are mothers and some are single young moms, this for us an organisation means.

“These ladies come from different provinces from Harare, Bulawayo and other provinces.

“They are spread over the provinces

“Your background doesn’t define your potential.

“What matters is what you do to achieve your goals. Keep pushing forward and surround yourself with positive people who inspire you.”

“We do not have repeaters this year. All the beauties and elegant ladies are raw talent.

This experience to most is the first time and we’re ready to couch them through out.

“The contestants will enter a boot camp on May 11, where they will refine their skills and prepare for the competition.” H-Metro
