2025 Leadership Series Launched At Masvingo Polytechnic College

Masvingo – Speaking at the launch of the 2025 Leadership Success Series at Masvingo Polytechnic,renowned bussinessman Kudakwashe Tagwirei explained the government’s vision for a digitally transformed agricultural sector, “Farming can produce millionaires”.

“Through land registries, e-agriculture platforms, and technology hubs, Zimbabwe is poised to unlock the full potential of its land and resources” said Tagwirei.

He further said as m Zimbabwe continued to harness the power of technology, the future looked bright for young people. “With the right tools and support, they can unlock their potential and contribute to the country’s growth and development.”

Yagwirei, who is the chairperson of the Land Tenure Implementation Committee, made these remarks at Masvingo Polytechnic College where he addressed students, journalists, stakeholders in the farming sector and top government officials.

“Innovations will reduce disputes and empower farmers, provide real time data for informed decisions, connect youths to markets and finance and drive economic growth and development,” said Tagwirei.

Tagwirei’s philanthropic work is notable, particularly through his Bridging Gaps Foundation. Some of his initiatives include
Water and Sanitation, drilling boreholes and installing solar systems to provide clean water and electricity to communities.

In education he supports schools and students through various projects, including donations of equipment and resources.

In healthcare, he provides medical care, including dental, antenatal care, and optometry services to communities in need.

And in agriculture, by supporting farmers and agricultural projects, including donations of equipment and resources.
