2 BODIES FOUND FLOATING IN WATER – POLICE SUSPECT FOUL PLAY

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) are investigating two suspected murder cases after two men were found floating in separate water sources under suspicious circumstances.

In the first case, Nelson Kaingidza (34) was found floating in Hunyani Dam at Maikoro Farm, Goromonzi, on May 23, 2025.

Police reports indicate he had been missing since May 19, after leaving home for prayer and fasting at the farm.

Investigators noted visible marks on his legs, suggesting foul play.

In the second case, Shepherd Mashava, (33) was found floating in Mwarazi River, Inyati, on May 23, 2025.

Police reports indicate Mashava was reported missing on May 17, after allegedly being assaulted by James George during an argument over braai meat at a sports bar at Chinyudze Business Centre, Inyati.

In a statement shared via their official social media account, the Zimbabwe Republic Police urged anyone with relevant information to report to their nearest police station
