Fatal Accident on Harare-Chirundu Road Claims Four Lives

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has confirmed a deadly road traffic accident that occurred on August 17, 2025, at the 103 km mark of the Harare-Chirundu Road around 4:00 PM.

A motorist driving a Mazda 3, heading towards Chinhoyi with three passengers, collided head-on with a Howo Sino Truck coming from the opposite direction.

Tragically, all four occupants of the Mazda 3 died at the scene—three were trapped inside the vehicle, while one was thrown out upon impact.

The bodies of the victims have been taken to Banket Hospital for post-mortem examinations.
