Zim popular Female Preachers gear up for Today’s Woman conference
Renowned female church leaders from across the country have started preparing for the Today’s Woman conference,to be held in Harare at the Glamis Arena from September 4 – 6.
The Today’s Woman conference focuses on prayer sessions and is also a marketing platform for women in different investment sectors.
Special guest at the event will be Visionary Archbishop Professor Eunor Guti of the ZAOGA church.
Several female gospel speakers from Zimbabwe have now started conducting virtual meetings communicating as well as strategizing vital agendas to be covered during the conference with other stakeholders of the much anticipated conference.
This was confirmed by Today’s Woman chairperson Pastor Lucy Kawenda who said several women from the platform are now holding virtual meetings with other stakeholders in a bid to strategise on important issues to be addressed during the conference under the ‘High Tea’ programme, where they hold the online interactions whilst having tea.
”Many female preachers and gospel leaders based in the country are engaging in virtual meetings in preparation for the Today’s Woman conference,” said Pastor Kawenda.
”They are discussing on several issues which will be focused on during the conference.
”Today’s Woman conference will also focus on counseling, leadership training, business networking, skills training, grooming and other areas a women needs in their lives,” added the Today’s Woman chairperson Pastor Kawenda.
Today’s Woman Interdenominational Conference started in 2007 with women from all denominations. The platform comprises of women from different churches across the country.
The conference is held after every two years.This year’s conference is expected to have an attendance of 30 000 ladies from across the globe.
Powerful speakers and mighty women of valour presenting different topics are also expected to attend.
Registration for the conference is pegged at US$3.
Guest of honour at the event Visionary Amai Professor Eunor Guti, will have a morning session with female pastors, prophetesses and female founders of Ministries who will be present at the event.
The chairperson of the Today’s Woman platform Pastor Kahwenda was optimistic that this year’s conference will bring a change to women’s lives through sermons and skills training, as well as life experiences teaching.
”We are looking forward to see all women who are coming to be inspired and empowered as well being delivered at the conference,” said Pastor Kahwenda.
