Nightmare over for Natalie Mhandu as charges dropped after being accused of practicing witchcraft

SOCIAL media star Natalie “Enchantress” Mhandu’s ordeal, in which she was being accused of practicing witchcraft, is OVER.

The charges against her were withdrawn before plea.

Her lawyer, Jeremiah Bhamu, told H-Metro last night that his client’s ordeal was over.

“The charges were withdrawn before plea, that’s all I can say,” said Bhamu.

When Mhandu last appeared in court, the State said it was not ready for trial as it intended to obtain a statement from Zinatha.

The State said it also wanted to obtain a video from cyber experts.

Presiding magistrate Sikhethile Moyo expressed her displeasure and ordered the State to proceed by way of summons whenever they complete investigations.

The State had claimed that Mhandu allegedly asked her former maid Elizabeth Mharire 48, to accompany her to see her traditional healer Christine Matashu alias Manjenjenje in Glen View.

The mission, according to the State, was to cast a spell on the complainant.
