Apostle Chiwenga’s Ex-Wife of Four Days Issues Public Apology
Nyasha Vanesa has issued a formal apology addressed to her husband Apostle T.F. Chiwenga, the Chiwenga and Verenga families, Jesus Revelation Ministries, and the general public following widespread backlash caused by her writings and public commentary on marriage.
In her written apology, dated 9 September 2025, Vanesa acknowledged that sharing personal details about her marriage on social media and in her literary works caused pain, embarrassment, and misunderstanding.
She clarified that her books Beneath the Facade and The Quorum of Shadows are fictional and not reflective of her actual marital situation.
Vanesa expressed deep regret for ignoring family counsel and admitted to the harm caused to her husband’s reputation and the church community.
She also extended an apology to the media, admitting that her silence during the height of the public discourse made matters worse.
Her statement concluded with a heartfelt plea for forgiveness and a commitment to refrain from such actions in the future.
This apology comes shortly after Apostle Talent Chiwenga, a prominent preacher, publicly confirmed the breakdown of their marriage, stating during a recent live church broadcast that the couple lived together for only four days before parting ways.
Chiwenga said he felt obliged to address the issue publicly to clear the air for his followers, amid growing speculation surrounding their relationship.
