Top Nigerian gospel artists set to thrill gospel fans at this year’s Mega 8 all night prayer meeting


‎Gospel fans are up for a treat this weekend as renowned gospel artists
‎from Nigeria, Minister GUC and Ebuka are set to perform for free, together with local gospel gurus Dorcas Moyo and Takesure Zamar at the Glamis Arena on the 3rd of October at the Mega 8 all-night prayer. The mega event is being hosted by Daughters of Virtue, an interdenominational prayer
‎group registered with the Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe.

‎The much-anticipated all night prayer gathering will see Nigerian preachers, Apostle Michael Orokpo and Pastor Isaac Oyedepo
‎ministering together with local top preachers
‎Bishop Never Muparutsa, Pastor Tom Deuschle and Daughters of Virtue
‎Visionary Prophetess Memory Matimbire alongside her husband Pastor Fred Matimbire.

‎Daughters of Virtue vice president, Pastor Blessed Marara confirmed the
‎attendance of the Western African artists and top preachers at the all-night prayer saying they were expected in the country on Thursday afternoon in preparation for a Friday
‎night performance.

‎“This year’s Mega 8 all night prayer to be held at Glamis Arena on the 3rd of October, will see prominent musicians
‎all the way from Nigeria ministering at the event. We are expecting Minister GUC, Minister Ebuka Songs, and from Zimbabwe we will be also having Dorcas Moyo and Takesure Zamar,” said Pastor
‎Blessed Marara.

‎“In addition to the gospel artists, we are expecting an open heaven at this year’s Mega 8 all night prayer through the ministration from Apostle Michael Orokpo and Pastor Isaac Oyedepo from Nigeria. From
‎Zimbabwe we will be having Pastor Tom Deuschle, Bishop Never Muparutsa and our very own Prophetess Memory Matimbire the visionary of Daughters of
‎Virtue,” added Pastor Marara.

‎Minister GUC – real name Gift Ugochi Christopher – was born on October 8, 1993. The 32-year-old Nigerian singer, musician and gospel
‎songwriter gained recognition following the release of his first album
‎in December 2020 with the hit tracks All that matters, Desperate and Yours.

‎Ebuka Songs – real name Ebuka Emmanuel Hillary – was born on May 10 1992 and is
‎known in the gospel music industry as Ebuka Songs. The Nigerian artist and songwriter came to recognition with the hit single “I will pray”.

‎He was signed under the record label Spotlite Nation by Moses Bliss in 2023, and most of his fans call his name and new generation.

‎Bishop Never Muparutsa the president of the Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe , Tom Deuschle founder and president of Celebration Church Ministries, and
‎Daughters of Virtue Visionary and president of Hebron Art of Prayer
‎International Ministries Prophetess Memory Matimbire together with her
‎husband Pastor Fred Matimbire will minister at the all-night prayer event on Friday with their Nigerian counterparts Michael Orokpo and Isaac Oyedepo who are well known preachers on the African continent.

‎Mega 8 all night is an all-night prayer meeting organized by Daughters of Virtue annually in Zimbabwe. It usually attracts crowds of over 30 000 congregants, but this year the organisation said in a statement they were expecting a crowd of more than 35 000.

‎“We hold a Mega all night prayer gathering annually and it attracts plus or minus 30 000 congregants, but this year’s event we are
‎expecting a bigger crowd of over 35 000 because of the musicians on the line up,” said Daughters of Virtue in a statement.
