Gospel Extravaganza set for Friday at Glamis Arena
A massive gospel all-night prayer gathering is set to alight the Glamis Arena on Friday night the 3rd of October.
The all-night gathering -called Mega 8 – will see internationally recognized top Nigerian gospel artists and famed preachers ministering together with high profile local Christian leaders on the night of prayer
Apostle Michael Orokpo, a Nigerian preacher who is populary known for his sermons on social media worldwide, will be attending the all-night prayer together with his counterpart Pastor Isaac Oyedepo, himself a renowned preacher also from the Western African country.
The two internationally recognized preachers will have the opportunity to preach deliverance and heal Zimbabweans who will be attending the Christian all-night gathering at the Glamis Arena on Friday night.
The organisers of the event confirmed the attendance of the celebrated gospel preachers confirming they will be jetting in the country on Friday.
”It has been confirmed and reconfirmed again that Apostle Michael Orokpo is going to be here at our 8th edition of Mega 8 event here in Harare, Zimbabwe, at the Glamis Arena. What an annoiting and what a gift we are going to have,” said Daughters of Virtue.
”Also Pastor Isaac Oyedepo is going to be there. You cannot afford to miss this awesome grace of the apostolic and the prophetic annoiting.”
Mega 8 is an event organised annually by Daughters of Virtue, an inter-denominational prayer group registered with the Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe (EFZ).
The highly-rated gathering is expected to attract an attendance of more than 35 000 congregates this year, more than previous years, because of the top Nigerian gospel musicians set to perform at the all-night prayer meeting.
Award-winning artists Minister GUC and Ebuka Songs are expected to minister at the much awaited Mega 8 al-night prayer meeting on Friday Night.
Daughters of Virtue in a statement said.
“We hold Mega all-night prayer gatherings annually and it attracts plus/minus 30 000 congregants, but this year’s event we are
expecting a bigger crowd of over 35 000.”
The international prayer group confirmed the attendance of the Nigerian gospel stars in an audio on several media platforms saying:
”We are ready for the 8th edition of Mega 8, I want to assure you that now final preparations are underway at Glamis Arena at Harare Showgrounds.
”It has been confirmed and reconfirmed that Ebuka Songs will be here and GUC will be landing on Thursday,” said Daughters of Virtue in an audio of confirmation.
From Zimbabwe Pastor Tom Deuschle, president of the Celebration Church Ministries, president of the Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe (EFZ) Bishop Never Muparutsa, and Daughters of Virtue Visionary who is also the president of Hebron Art of Prayer International Ministries Prophetess Memory Matimbire will also be ministering at the Mega 8 event.
Top gospel music icons Dorcas Moyo (pictured) and Takesure Zamar will be brushing shoulders with the top Nigerian gospel artists as they will also stage a performance at the event.
