Mberengwa Woman Rejects Husband, Says Goblins Please Her More Sexually
*…..”I Lost My Virginity To Goblins”
MBERENGWA— A 22‑year‑old woman has shocked her community after claiming goblins stole her virginity in childhood dreams, an experience she says has left her rejecting her husband’s affection and preferring intimacy with spirits.
Janet (not her real name), who married in 2020 and now has two children, says she cannot stand intimacy with her husband because she feels spiritually “married” to goblins.
“This problem started when I was young after goblins took my virginity in dreams. I was told I had become a wife to goblins from our village, which makes me despise my husband at home,” she explained.
She revealed that the situation has pushed her marriage to the brink of collapse.
“At home we live as if we are two men, which almost led to separation,” she said, adding that she only feels satisfied through spiritual encounters rather than her husband.
Janet described her marital intimacy as painful and unwanted.
“With my husband it is only suffering, I feel as if he is forcing himself on me because I desire intimacy with goblins,” she said.
She explained that the spiritual encounters also leave her in pain:
“After goblins sleep with me, I experience burning sensations, and sores develop in my private parts.”
She lives in a household of five women, some of whom returned home after failed marriages.
Janet says this environment makes her feel isolated, especially when she compares herself to other women who enjoy intimacy with their husbands.
She also claims she has been repeatedly told she carries spiritual markings.
“Wherever I go, people tell me I was marked with tattoos that cause goblins to sleep with me,” she said.
Having lost her father and relying only on her mother, Janet says she feels vulnerable and without support in confronting what she calls spiritual bondage.
“I do not want these things; I have suffered from being made a wife to goblins. Accusations never end, and that is a real problem,” she added.
Harare‑based Pastor Hazvinei Muchefa confirmed that similar cases are reported by women and even some men.
He said such problems are usually resolved through prayer.
“Many women face the same problem as Janet, and even some men can be attacked by goblins. These challenges end through prayer,” he said.
