Deadly accident in Zvishavane, Four people killed

Four people have been confirmed dead following a severe head-on collision involving a BMW and an Isuzu KB250 on the Gweru–Zvishavane Road yesterday afternoon.

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) confirmed the accident occurred at approximately 15:50 hours on Friday, November 21, at the 89 km peg.

According to official reports, the BMW, which was travelling towards Zvishavane with two passengers, collided head-on with the Isuzu utility vehicle carrying three passengers.

Authorities have stated that both drivers are among the deceased. Two victims died at the scene of the crash, while the remaining two succumbed to their injuries upon admission to Zvishavane District Hospital.

Police investigations into the cause of the accident are currently underway. – Zimbo LIVE Harare.
