WITCHCRAFT OR WHAT?: Lightning Unlocks Clamped Car In Masvingo, Forcing City Council Marshals To Run Away For Their Lives

Masvingo City Council parking marshals were thrown into panic on Tuesday after a lightning bolt reportedly struck a wheel clamp they had placed on a vehicle — moments before the clamp mysteriously unlocked on its own.

Witnesses said the motorist wasted no time, jumping into his car and driving off immediately after the unexpected strike.

The incident occurred around 1:30 PM along Simon Muzenda Street, opposite Bob’s Tavern at Tsungai Complex. By the time of reporting, none of the marshals were willing to return to pick up the clamp, with many fearing another strike and choosing to keep their distance.
