Craft Properties Donates Residential Stands To Kadoma Residents

Craft Properties Holdings,a Kadoma-based company, has donated 15 residential stands at their Holyland High-density Housing Project to people living with disabilities and albinism. The handover was done at a ceremony graced by Mashwest Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Hon Marian Chombo in Kadoma last Thursday.

Handing over the residential stands to beneficiaries,Hon Chombo applauded Craft Properties Holdings directors Professor Kudakwashe Taruberkera and his wife for coming up with the donations and showing commitment to uplifting and changing the lives of people living with disabilities and albinism.

“We’re here to celebrate a time of winning against the odds, as today we give respect to some of our citizens and to celebrate a time for winning for all, especially those people living with disabilities and albinism as they will be given a lifetime chance of owning a house,” Chombo said.

The handing over of residential stands is not only a donation but it shows oneness, mercy and development that has been brought to the City of Kadoma.

The donation of 15 residential stands to people living with disabilities and albinism shows that no one is to be left behind in the development of the country and of these 15 residential stands, 10 have been allocated to people living with disabilities and five have been reserved for those people living with albinism.

I applaud Craft Properties Holdings for coming up with this donations, it shows a commitment to uplifting and changing lives of people living with disabilities and albinism.

Craft Properties Holdings since it inception in 2008, has in the past 16 years been a vital cog in the government’s vision of an upper middle class income society by 2030.

The country is aware of concerns of people living with disabilities and albinism and today we have showed that we’re are aware of you, we love you and aware of all of your concerns.

The government has a mandate of providing residential stands to citizens and we’ll continue to enact laws that are people-oriented, not leaving out you, people living with disabilities and albinism.”

Speaking to the media after receiving their Offer Letters and a residential plan, most beneficiaries expressed gratitude fot Craft Properties Holdings’ generosity.

Tadiwanashe Kudzerema said that she was really happy to receive a residential stand from Craft Properties Holdings as it was very difficult to rent a a house for people living with albinism.

“I’m really happy to have been one of the beneficiaries of the residential stand from Craft Properties Holdings, as it’s not easy for us who live with albinism to approach someone who owns a house looking for a house to rent as most house owners are not comfortable sharing their houses with people living with albinism. So with this residential stand I am going to build my own house,” said a jovial Kudzerema.

Another beneficiary, Noah Zhengeni also thanked Craft Properties Holdings for providing him the chance to own a residential stand.

“I’m delighted and at loss for words to express the joy that is in me. I really want to thank Craft Properties Holdings directors Professor Kudakwashe Taruberkera and his wife for according me and my family a residential stand,”said Zhengeni.
