ZBC Slashes Radio And TV Licence Fees
The Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC) has announced cuts to both radio and television licence fees, which will come into effect from 15 January 2026, under Statutory Instrument (SI) 203A of 2025.
Business vehicle radio licences have been cut from US$200 to US$90 per year, while private vehicle licences will now cost US$84, down from US$92.
For households, the combined radio and TV licence has been sharply reduced from US$100 to US$24 per year.
Urban home radio licences will now cost US$10, down from US$40, while rural listeners will pay just US$5, reduced from US$20.
