Why did Chipaz Promotions shift ONE BIG PARTY venue for Winky D and Jah Prayzah from Hockey Stadium to Glamis Arena?

ORGANISERS of the “One Big Party,” headlined by Jah Prayzah and Winky D, say rain fears and a huge demand for tickets have forced them to change the venue to the Glamis Arena in Harare.

The show was initially set for the Hockey Stadium in the capital.

The show will also feature an exciting line-up of youthful stars, including Kurai Makore, Killer T, Chill Master and Feli Nandi.

Show promoter Partson “Chipaz” Chimbodza confirmed the venue change.

“We decided to change the venue promptly due to the high demand for the event,” said Chipaz.

“The Glamis Arena provides enough space for us to erect tents in case of rain.

“We are taking these measures to ensure the safety of our fans.”

Chipaz, who is celebrating 21 years as a music promoter and events manager, added:

“To be honest, the feedback has been fantastic because fans have been eagerly anticipating this event.

“Having Winky D and Jah Prayzah perform on the same stage is something they’ve long awaited.

“We have just delivered what many people have been itching for.”

Both Jah Prayzah and Winky D have been actively promoting the event by sharing videos.

Over the years, the fan bases of Jah Prayzah and Winky D have occasionally been at odds, so it will be intriguing to see how the dynamics unfold at the Glamis Arena on December 31.

This show promises to go down in history as one of Chipaz’s most memorable events, following his successful efforts to convince these two artists to share the stage.
