Harare City Council police round up street kids in CBD, amid rising crimes

Street urchins, who had become a menace in the city centre targeting mainly women and children, were today rounded up by municipal police in a crackdown against those committing crimes while staying on the streets.

Council spokesperson Stanley Gama confirmed the arrests to our municipal reporter Kudakwashe Chibvuri and that the suspects have been handed over to the Zimbabwe Republic Police.
