Police Seek Help Identifying Suspected Robber Killed In Hatfield Shootout
The police are appealing to the public to help identify the body of an unknown man, believed to be between 30 and 35 years old.
Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi said on Wednesday that the man was involved in a shootout with detectives along Twentydales Road in Hatfield, Harare, on 13 October 2025. The incident followed a robbery in which he allegedly stole a motor vehicle from a complainant.
Nyathi added that a post-mortem examination has been carried out, and the body is currently at Sally Mugabe Central Hospital Mortuary. He said:
