Nyathi Family Implodes: Allegations of Abuse and Infidelity Rock Social Media Couple
Gilbert Nyathi, a prominent Zimbabwean social media personality, is facing serious allegations of verbal and physical abuse, promiscuity, and financial irresponsibility.
His wife, Joyce, has reportedly shared audio recordings with a South Africa based socialite, Luoisa, alleging that Nyathi has been abusive and unfaithful throughout their marriage.
It is also alleged that he was also violent to her while she was pregnant because she had gathered evidence of his affairs. This came after they were in the spotlight again following the logde incident when his wife was also still pregnant with their second child.
The allegations include claims that Nyathi has given his wife a sexually transmitted infection (STI) and has been spending their income on other women, including a Zulu lady, while Mai Nyathi had to be given money by other socialites to buy food for the family.
Joyce also alleges that Nyathi has been physically and verbally abusive and once told her that she has nothing to her name because he bought everything they own, despite making their money as a team on social media. In another viral audio released, Mai Nyathi now feels like life was peaceful when they were still living in a shack in Mpumalanga without all the wealth they accumulated on social media which she allegedly feels is the cause of her marital problems.
Nyathi has denied the allegations, claiming that the audio recordings are AI-fabricated and part of a conspiracy against him. However, many have questioned his credibility, pointing to his intoxicated live video where he made the claims.
The couple’s marriage had been showcased on social media, with many fans following their journey. However, the recent allegations have led to a public backlash, with many expressing shock and disappointment.
The scandal has sparked a heated debate on social media, with some calling for Nyathi to take responsibility for his actions, while others are questioning the authenticity of the allegations
