ZRP’s Swift Action Restores Hope in Guruve Community 

In a significant breakthrough, the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) and the Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) has apprehended Anymore Zvitsva, a suspect linked to the brutal murders of nine individuals in the Guruve area.

Zvitsva, also known as Modho, had been eluding authorities since December 11, 2025, following the alleged killing of five family members at Ona Farm.

The swift response from the ZRP and ZNA has been met with relief and optimism in the community, particularly considering the complexity of the case.

A well-coordinated manhunt involved multiple specialized units, including the Support Unit, Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Canine Unit, horse patrols, drone teams, and intelligence officers.

Local residents significantly contributed to the investigation by providing crucial information that guided the police to Zvitsva’s location.

The successful apprehension of the suspect has brought a renewed sense of security to the community.
