Rick Ross to perform at Scott’s birthday party
MULTI-Grammy award winner Rick Ross, real name William Roberts II, is expected to perform in the country on the 28th of February 2026 to celebrate Zanu PF Mabvuku Member of Parliament, Scott Sakupwanya’s birthday.
Ross announced the news in a video shared on Instagram. In the video, Rick Ross is captured saying, “Zimbabwe, I just got word I’m comin’ out rockin’ with my homie Scott. The birthday bash is gon’ be next level, February 28th.
“It’s gonna be historic, we makin’ history. It’s all about big moves, and my homie Scott makes big moves. Yeah, I can’t wait.”
Scott, known for his lavish spending, will be turning 47.
It is not the first time that the Mabvuku legislator has brought Ross in the country. In 2022 he was brought through organizers, ROAR Entertainment and he was reportedly hired for US$200 000 for a concert that was held at the Harare International Conference Center.
In 2023 Scott also brought American iconic boxer and promoter, Floyd Mayweather Jnr.
