ZIMSEC Releases 2025 Ordinary Level Examination Results

The Zimbabwe Schools Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) has officially announced the release of the 2025 Ordinary Level examination results, revealing a noteworthy increase in the national pass rate to 35 percent.

 

This marks the third consecutive year of improvement in the examination outcomes.

 

In a press briefing held today, ZIMSEC board chairperson Professor Paul Mapfumo stated that the results will be accessible on the ZIMSEC portal starting at 4 PM today and will remain available for the next five days.

 

How to Access Your Results

 

Students can follow these steps to view their results:

 

1. Visit the ZIMSEC Results Portal

 

– Go to [ZIMSEC Results Portal](https://www.zimsec.co.zw/).

 

2. Click on ‘View Results’

 

– Navigate to the “View Results” section on the homepage.

 

3. Select Your School Region

 

– Choose the region corresponding to your school.

 

4. Register as a New User

 

– Click on “Register as a New User”.

 

5. Create Your ZIMSEC Account

 

– Enter your centre number and candidate number.

 

– Ensure you select “November” for the session and “O-Level” for the level, as well as “2025” for the year.

 

– Follow the specified format for entering your candidate name: surname first, followed by the first name and initial of the second name if applicable.

 

– Note: Entering your first name before your surname will lead to an error message stating, “Candidate details not found.”

 

6. Create a Unique Username and Password

 

– Your password should contain at least one capital letter and one number. Keep these credentials safe for future access.

 

7. Log In to the ZIMSEC Portal

 

– After registering, log in using your newly created username and password.

 

8. View Your Results

 

– Finally, access and review your 2025 ZIMSEC Ordinary O Level results.
