Blessed Geza’s Body Arrives in Zim Today

The body of outspoken war veteran Blessed “Bombshell” Geza is set to arrive at the Beitbridge Border Post at 6am today (Saturday), the family has confirmed.

According to a funeral programme released yesterday, Geza’s body left South Africa at 6pm and will be transported to his rural home in Sanyati for burial.

The convoy will move through Masvingo, Mvuma, Gweru, Kwekwe, Kadoma, Chegutu, Norton and finally Harare, where thousands are expected to gather.

Geza rose to prominence two years ago after publicly blasting the Second Republic over corruption and alleged attempts to extend Emmerson Mnangagwa’s presidency beyond 2028.

His sharp criticism and calls for nationwide protests forced him into exile, where he faced unresolved treason charges.

He died last Friday in South Africa after a period of ill health, closing a chapter supporters describe as courageous, outspoken and unyielding in the face of political pressure.

The family has urged members of the public to line the route in solidarity as the veteran’s final journey home begins.
