Wicknell Chivayo gifts Jah Prayzah’s mother a Toyota Fortuner plus US$20,000 cash… Gifts to the musician now total US$2 million

Wicknell Chivayo has once again gifted a relative of musician Jah Prayzah, this time his mother, adding to gifts to the family that now total close to a million US dollars.

Posting on his social media pages on Saturday, Chivayo praised Amai Shirley Danai Mukombe, mother of Jah Prayzah (real name Mukudzei Mukombe), for her pivotal role in the musician’s upbringing.

Chivayo said that while the world celebrates Jah Prayzah today, behind the musician stands a mother whose prayers and values shaped him. Said Chivayo:

“Tinokutendai VACHIHERA, Seke Mutema, Vhuramayi, nekuti zvarira CHIPO CHIKURU and for teaching our musical GENIUS the ways of love and CULTURAL PRIDE which is very evident in his music.”

Chivayo added that, in recognition of Gogo Mukombe’s role as an exceptional mother to Jah Prayzah, a brand-new 2026 Toyota Fortuner 2.8 GD6 4×4, valued at US$78,000, for her, was ready for collection at Exquisite. Said Chivayo:

“In appreciation of your role as an EXCEPTIONAL MOTHER to a musician we celebrate GLOBALLY, please go and see Victor and collect your brand spanking new 2026 TOYOTA FORTUNER 2,8 GD6 4X4, worth US$78,000.

“Your car has been fully paid for and is now ready for collection. I kindly request your son JAH PRAYZAH to accompany you to go and collect this car. In addition, you will also get US$20,000 deposited into your bank account for fuel and pocket money.”

Commenting on Chivayo’s post, former opposition MP Fadzayi Mahere remarked that this time he appeared to be channelling the cash through the banking system, after she had asked where he sourced the money he so lavishly gives away.

Chivayo fired back, mocking Mahere over her marital status, referring to her as a “tsikombi yenyika,” a term used for a woman who remains unmarried past her prime. He wrote:

“Aiwa kwete TSIKOMBI YE NYIKA taitira kuti Amai vedu vanogara kumusha saka vanoshandisa SWIPE not CASH saka tati mugare maziva kuti yavo tavaisira ku bank.

“Vamwe vese vachapihwa zvavo iri cash uchazviona. Ndingatyei kana kuvhunduka zvaunotaura nhai Fadzi, you’re just a confused, useless and failed politician asina kana POWER zvake.”

Meanwhile, Chivayo has already lavished gifts on Jah Prayzah, his wife, and son, with the total value of presents approaching US$1 million.

To Jah Prayzah, he has gifted a Mercedes‑Benz S500 (worth around US$180,000), a Range Rover, and a Land Rover Defender, as part of a series of luxury vehicles given between 2024 and 2025.

He has also distributed substantial sums to Jah Prayzah, his band members, dancers, and staff, alongside multiple vehicles for his team and employees.

To Jah Prayzah’s wife, Mai Mukombe, Chivayo presented a brand-new 2025 Land Rover Defender 3.0 D (Full Spec) as a birthday gift for her husband.

In July 2025, he gifted Jah Prayzah’s young son a brand-new Toyota Aqua. *_-Pindula_*
