Magaya Rape Trial Postponed Again
The trial of Prophet Walter Magaya, the leader of the Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries, has been postponed once again.
Magaya faces five counts of rape, and the new trial date is set for March 10.
The leading prosecutor, Mr. Clemence Chimbari, asked for the delay due to scheduling conflicts, as the prosecution is also managing another case involving Magaya today.
Magistrate Mr. Francis Mapfumo agreed to postpone the trial to the new date.
Mr. Chimbari informed the court that the State will provide the defense with all necessary documents by Thursday to help prepare for the proceedings.
