You failed to even stop Mwonzora and Tshabangu, and now you think you can stop amendment number 3 bill – Zivhu mocks opposition
Controversial former Chivi South MP Killer Zivhu has sparked debate after declaring that efforts to halt the proposed Constitutional Amendment Number 3 are now futile.
Speaking over the weekend, Zivhu made bold claims while referencing past political developments in Zimbabwe, arguing that those opposing the amendment lack the power to stop it.
“You failed to stop Dougie Dougie and he grabbed MDC while you were watching.
You failed to stop Tshabangu who was selling mineral water using a blue Pepsi cart, he came to Harare and seized CCC. Now you say you want to stop Amendment Number 3, how? Mutikwanire imwi …,” Zivhu said.
Zivhu’s remarks come amid growing debate and tension over Amendment Number 3, which has sparked nationwide discussion regarding proposed changes to presidential and parliamentary terms, along with other governance provisions.
His statement has already generated strong reactions on social media, with many people debating the implications of his claim that the amendment process cannot be stopped.
