Nation Bids Farewell to Liberation Hero Alderman Luka Phiri

Today, the nation bids a final farewell to the late liberation war hero Alderman Luka Phiri, who passed away on Monday. His burial ceremony will take place at Kadoma District Heroes Acre, with Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution in Mashonaland West Province Honourable Mirian Chombo presiding over the proceedings.

Alderman Phiri’s remarkable life was marked by his bravery and selflessness during the liberation struggle. His contributions to Zimbabwe’s independence will never be forgotten, and his legacy will continue to inspire future generations.
