The Fire At Trevor Dongo’s Flat: A Girlfriend Trapped On The First Floor, A Naked Lover

ONE of Trevor Dongo’s lovers was naked when she fled from the fire which was sweeping through his flat on Friday night.

Other tenants had to create a makeshift mattress to enable his other lover to jump to safety after being trapped on the first floor. The fire was started by one of Trevor’s lovers.

The tenants at the block of flats where Trevor rents an apartment say they are concerned over his messy relationships.

It led to one of his lovers setting his bed on fire in rage on Friday night.

Two of his lovers clashed at his flat on that fateful night, and the apartment ended up being engulfed in fire.

The musician is affectionately known as the “Ladies Man.”

It’s a nickname he earned because of his beautiful voice and handsome facial features. However, it has emerged that Trevor has been flirting with a number of women.

And, on Friday night, two of his lovers clashed at his rented flat.

One of his lovers, identified only as Tanaka, fled the scene naked.

In a fit of rage, the other lover set the bed on fire, causing significant damage to the property in the flat.

The residents took turns trying to extinguish the flames with buckets of water until firefighters arrived.

They managed to rescue the lover who had started the fire, while Trevor escaped with minor burns to his face.

One of the tenants told H-Metro that Trevor has become something of a nuisance at that block of flats.

“As residents, we are urging Trevor Dongo to behave well considering his age and as a singer of songs which are loved by our children.

“Dongo’s lovers have been a nuisance for some time, and this time his immorality nearly cost us our lives and damaged our property.

“Last time akatizirwa akaramba kuvhurira mukadzi imba nekuti aiveneumwe mukadzi mumba.

“The girl who set the apartment on fire went to the balcony to make a call and she could not find a way to escape, but the other lover ran away naked, and one of the residents provided her with clothes.

“Takazowaridza mattress pasi nyakupisa kwakuzosvetuka kubva mu first floor kuwira mattress asi akakuvara.

“The person who bought that flat trusted Dongo to occupy the apartment, but his behaviour has become a nuisance to us,” said one of the tenants.

Trevor and Tanaka sustained burns and were referred to hospital.

They could not be reached for their side of the story.

Harare provincial police spokesperson Inspector Luckmore Chakanza confirmed the incident.

“Police are investigating a case in the Avenues area where all the property in the bedroom, lounge, toilets, and kitchen were destroyed by fire,” said Insp Chakanza.

“A local musician and his girlfriend sustained minor burns.

“They were rushed to Parirenyatwa Hospital for medical attention,” said Insp Chakanza. H-Metro
