A brazen daylight robbery has left Harare’s Cameroon Street in shock after armed robbers pounced on a prominent Indian businessman at Steve’s Mall, making off with an estimated US$500,000 in cash and high-end electronics.
What was meant to be a normal business day quickly turned into mayhem, with stunned onlookers forced to abandon their activities as the daring gang executed the heist with clinical precision.
The usually vibrant commercial strip was brought to a standstill as panic spread through the area.
According to the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC), the robbers struck swiftly, catching their target off guard before disappearing without a trace.
