In a heartfelt Facebook post, Wicknell Chivayo praised the street evangelist for his humility, consistency, and Christ-centered teachings.
โThere are voices that echo from pulpits and then there are voices that rise from the pavements.
He speaks in a manner so simple, yet his words are pregnant with deep spiritual revelationโฆcoated in polished humor and theatrics, yet deeply nourishing.โ
Chivayo recounted how Evangelist Muparinga has remained grounded despite having had opportunities to leave the street. He commended him for never using his platform to attack other preachers, instead preaching love, compassion, discipline, and hard work.
A Memorable Sermon and a Life Lesson
Chivayo also shared his favourite teaching from Muparinga:
โMy favorite sermon by this unassuming Man of God revolved around how CHRISTIANS must WORK hard, as much as they PRAY hard. โPrayer haidzinge NHAMO, indodzinga MWEYA wenhamoโโฆIndeed, โWE ARE NOT HEAVENLY MINDED TO BE EARTHLY USELESS !!!!โ Ukashaya mari yekutenga chikafu unofira mu prayer ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃโ
He praised the evangelistโs ability to challenge believers to combine prayer with practical effort.
Chivayo concluded the post by revealing his gift to Evangelist Muparinga:
โPlease go and see Victor at Exquisite Motors on Monday and collect your brand-new 2025 Toyota Fortuner 2.4 GD6 that is fully paid for and ready for collection.
In addition, you will receive USD50,000 in cash to support your growing ministryโwhether to purchase instruments, set up equipment, or take the gospel to even greater heights,โ he announced.
He ended with blessings for the evangelistโs continued impact:
โMay God continue blessing you abundantly.โ
