Jealous Hubby Kills Wife Over Suspected Infidelity

A HARARE man has been arrested for allegedly killing his 21-year-old wife after suspecting she was having an extramarital affair.

Police confirmed the arrest of Tinashe Turamai of Malbereign in Harare.

Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) national spokesperson, Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the murder.

“On August 11, 2025, police in Malbereign arrested Tinashe Turamai (27) in connection with a murder case in which he allegedly stabbed his wife, Marita Nyamunda (21), on the stomach and neck with a kitchen knife, accusing her of having an extramarital affair,” said Nyathi.

In a separate incident, on August 8, 2025, police in Kuwadzana arrested a burglar, who broke into a house and wrestled the owner before killing him during the scuffle.

The suspect identified as Bigboy Majenje (42) broke into Amos Pearson’s house in Kuwadzana 5. The property owner noticed the intruder and tried to fight him leading to the killing.

“Suspect was caught by the owner, Amos Pearson (58) and the two fought, resulting in Amos Pearson’s death,” said Nyathi. *NewZW*
