Passion Java chickens out of buying Baba Harare’s latest album for US$5,000
Flamboyant preacher Prophet Passion Java was put under the spotlight on Radio Zimbabwe after he gatecrashed Baba Harare’s interview live on air.
Baba Harare was on a radio tour to promote his latest album which was launched on Friday when Java popped into the studio with his team to promote his all night prayer service which was also taking place tonight at the HICC.
At first, Baba Harare almost quit doing the interview after seeing that Java had gate crashed he later stayed but did not let him steal his shine.
Java was asked to pay $5000 for the upcoming album but could not give a satisfactory answer.
He said, “I will just donate towards the album, I will buy the album for ten fans and get them tickets as well.
“Or let’s do it this way, if he successfully gets fills half of his arena, I will give him the US$5,000.”
Baba Harare went on to attack Java on social media posting, saying he could not afford to pay the US$5,000, which he vowed on the radio.
“Hanzi ne ako I want to give you US$5,000. Imi US$5,000 inobuda kupiko iye arikushaya sipo yekuwacha bhachi iro rine madzihwa pabendekete,” posted Baba Harare on Facebook.
Baba Harare will be launching his return album after he had dumped Jiti music for gospel. He has now returned to his genre after he failed to take over the gospel industry, as he anticipated.
Passion Java and Baba Harare have been beefing persistently on social media while throwing jabs at each other. *_-Nehanda Radio_*
