Joy And Worry As Bulawayo Couple Welcomes Triplets, But Now Faces Financial Struggles
A couple from New Magwegwe is experiencing a mix of joy and worry after the birth of triplets at Mpilo Central Hospital, bringing their total number of children to eight.
Oliver Tigoni, 51, and his wife Tenicca Mudenda, 36, are thrilled about their three new babies but are also feeling the pressure of their growing family on their finances.
From their modest home, Tigoni expressed gratitude for the safe arrival of the triplets but acknowledged the added responsibilities.
“I am thankful to God for this blessing, but it comes with great responsibility,” he said.
The couple is asking for help from the community, as they struggle to provide basic needs like baby clothes and food.
“We kindly ask for any assistance, even a job, to help support our family,” pleaded Tigoni.
Their small home is becoming increasingly crowded, and they are finding it challenging to care for their large family.
Despite the difficulties, the Tigonis remain hopeful that the kindness of their fellow Zimbabweans will help them through this tough time.
Those who wish to help can reach out to the family at 0772 526 311 / 0783 544 900 or via email at [email protected].
