Burnt Body Of Teen Girl Found At Kutsaga Farm: ZRP Appeals For Public Help To Identify Victim
HARARE – The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has launched a murder investigation following the discovery of a burnt body of a yet-to-be-identified female at Kutsaga Research Farm in Hatfield, Harare.
The body was found on 13 May 2025 at around 1500 hours, sparking immediate concern and a forensic response.
In a statement shared on their official Twitter account, ZRP confirmed that the remains were transported to Chitungwiza Hospital mortuary for a post-mortem.
Medical examination revealed that the deceased was a young female, approximately 17 years old.
The body was burnt beyond recognition, prompting authorities to initiate forensic procedures to determine her identity and cause of death.
Police are appealing to members of the public with any information that may assist in identifying the victim.
