Job Sikhala’s lawyer speaks to SABC News
Zimbabwean politician and lawyer Job Sikhala, who was arrested last night in Pretoria, will spend the weekend in police custody and is expected to appear in court on Monday alongside his uncle.
Job Sikhala was trapped. He had been warned that a setup was being organised to get him arrested, but Job being Job, he thought nothing of it.
You will fully understand that this matter is yet to be heard before the courts, so I cannot say more than this, otherwise he would be prejudiced. The full story will be heard in court.
This should serve as a lesson to all Zimbabweans opposed to the 2030 agenda that this regime will stop at nothing to crush its perceived enemies both home and abroad, and will spend any amount of money to trap and silence them.
If you are in the opposition, beware of three important things; strangers offering to help your cause, offers that seem too good to be true, and if you are a man, be cautious of women.
This regime has a well-documented history of using women to lure and entrap men involved in opposition politics. Luckily for Job, it was not a case of a honey trap. The full details will be revealed in court.
Thr SA lawyer said police were going over CCTV footage of the parking lot where Sikhala’s car was to see if anyone tampered with the vehicle.
